Why we created CompareHRIS.com

The simple reason we created CompareHRIS.com is we saw a need for the human resource profession which is not being met. The need is for a web site that allows users to easily wade through the dozens of leading HR Information Systems systems on the market and determine quickly, easily, and without bias which HR system meets their needs. We looked at HR and Payroll software listing sites and found that they either favor certain vendors who pay more, or provide so little detail that it is impossible to actually compare any of the HR systems.  I thought we could do a better job and believe, without question, that we have. After more than 15 years of industry experience, I have seen the great amount of effort HR personnel undergo to select an HRIS. We want to make the job easier. Let me know if you think we succeeded or if we failed.

When we looked at the other HR software listing sites on the market, we believed they were too lacking in detail or in HR expertise to offer value to the human resource professional. The background of those who have contributed to the design and development of CompareHRIS.com have over 40 years of combined experience in the Human Resource software industry. HR software solution are all we work with. If you have been to the other sites, you will notice that HR software is not even their primary focus.

This is the primary goal of this site and the supporting logic behind the HR software survey and results tool. It’s simple to use, not time consuming, and unbiased. All the site visitor has to do is complete a short 20 minute survey regarding HRIS interest and weight that interest on a wide range of features and options available for today’s HR software products. Upon completing the survey, a results page shows which five HR software products come closest to the users HR system needs and which three score the highest according to the weighted replies. It’s that easy and, of course, it’s free.

Once the visitor has the results, they need only to click on any free HR software demos for any of the recommended HRIS products at which they wish to look. The 20 minutes of time you spend completing the survey will save hours and hours, if not days, of researching HR systems that may or may not meet your HR software needs. With the number of HRMS systems on the market, there is no reason to settle. It’s highly likely that if you use the survey, you will find an HR software solution that meets all of your needs and your budget.

Also, be sure to visit our products page where you are able to sort the offered HRIS products by price, years in business, number of installs or ASP versus purchase. You are also able to filter the listed products.
