Most of this time was spent selling those systems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>HRIS Selection Tool Prospect Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before providing a prospect a demo, a quote, or implementation details, the first step was to determine exactly what their needs were for a system and to determine if any of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/HR-Information-Systems-Video\/\">HR Information Systems<\/a>\u00a0I worked with would meet those needs. This process is what is called a needs analysis in our industry. It\u2019s extremely important for all parties involved. The basic process of completing a needs analysis is to determine as much as possible about a prospect\u2019s current practices, problems and specific needs for a new system. Based on information gained from a needs analysis, the sales person is able to present a solution, provide an accurate proposal, and provide a scope for the project. The customer is better served by having a solution that specifically addresses their problems and caters to their individual system needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When I created the concept of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/\">CompareHRIS.com<\/a>, the most important element would be our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/\">HRIS<\/a>\u00a0selection tool. I used my experience with performing\u00a0<a title=\"HR software\" href=\"\/blog\/\">HR software<\/a>\u00a0needs analyses as my template. I envisioned that this tool and my site would bring the needs of prospects to vendors who offered the best solution. This is in large part what makes our site very helpful for both prospects and\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">HRIS vendors<\/span>. Our selection tool helps the prospect determine exactly what their needs are for a system.\u00a0\u00a0The questions in the survey represent the most comprehensive list I have seen of the various capabilities and features of today\u2019s leading\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/Employee-Management-Software-Features-\/\">Employee Management Software<\/a>\u00a0systems. If an end user meets with five different\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/Employee-Tracking-Software\/\">Employee tracking Software<\/a>\u00a0companies, they will likely be presented with five different needs analyses with each presenting unique features and capabilities. Our tool represents the combined capabilities of all the leading systems. If you are just starting your search and need to know what today\u2019s leading\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/\">HRIS\/HRMS<\/a>\u00a0systems are capable of, our tool also offers a great introduction into the industry.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Once the user has determined their needs by completing our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/HR-Solutions-Selection-Tool-Too-Wordy\/\">HR solutions<\/a>\u00a0selection tool, the user is presented with a scored list of the products providing a match to their specific needs. From there, the user can compare the systems side by side. With these comparison screens, we show price ranges if the vendors offer it, number of installs, years in business, purchase options, target market sizes based on number of employees and a table of 15 features and options. The table will show exactly which features are offered by each vendor and if they meet certain capabilities with third party providers. You are also able to view individual product pages for even greater detail. After your preliminary research, you can view pre-recorded demos or request a contact from the vendor. I have not seen any site which compares to ours or offers anywhere near the detail we offer with our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/HR-Software-Solutions-Implementationms-\/\">HR software solution<\/a>\u00a0selection tool. That\u2019s why I created CompareHRIS.com in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>HRIS Selection Tool Vendor Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The prospects who complete the survey may take 10 to 20 minutes or more to complete the survey. Now that may not sound like much time but it is enough time to weed out the tire kickers who aren\u2019t serious about a system. As a guy who used to sell\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comparehris.com\/\">HRIS systems<\/a>, I can tell you I would have loved our leads. Before even calling the prospect, I would have known exactly what features and options they were looking for and what their time lines were. Again, basically the needs analysis would be created before I made the first call.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a direct quote from one of our vendors regarding our leads:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>\u201cI like your model in that we receive detailed prospect information which assists us in meeting their expectations and HR needs.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you are actively searching for an\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">HRIS\u00a0HRMS<\/span>\u00a0application, I am not sure you will find a site that offers a more detailed resource than CompareHRIS.com.
